We had long dreamed of visiting Bali and carefully planned our 12-day vacation in advance, utilizing trusted platforms such as Agoda and Klook to ensure the best experience possible. Agoda’s “Book now, pay later” and “Free Cancellation” options were particularly useful, allowing us to secure accommodations with stunning views. Meanwhile, Klook made it easy to arrange everything from a local SIM card and airport transfers to scooter rentals and private charter tours throughout Bali. We made sure to explore a variety of popular destinations, including South, Central, Eastern, and North Bali, as well as Nusa Penida.
Our Recommendations
We made the most of our 12-day vacation in Bali, visiting all the must-see destinations and finding it to be a comfortable and peaceful experience. To aid in planning for future travelers, we have listed our favorite spots below. We spent 10 days on the main island of Bali, and the remaining 2 days on the nearby island of Nusa Penida. If you’re an avid hiker or trekker, you may want to consider spending more time on Nusa Penida. We allotted 2 days each for North Bali, South Bali, and Nusa Penida, and 4 days for Central Ubud.
